Photo of the day: SL-75FRN-L motherboard from Soltek
A new Socket A system board SL-75FRN-L from Soltek has appeared in our test lab.
Like the SL-75FRN and SL-75FRN-R and SL-75FRN-RL boards, the SL-75FRN-L version has an ATX form factor and is based on the NVIDIA nForce2 SPP + MCP chipset bundle. The board is equipped with an AGP 8x slot, five PCI slots, three DIMM slots (Dual DDR SDRAM 400/333/266 MHz), a 10/100 Ethernet LAN port, a USB2 port.0/1.1, 6-channel audio.
Just today on the Soltek website the update of the descriptions of boards of this family is dated. In this regard, it is interesting to note that the board at our disposal is made on a PCB of a specific yellow color (Golden Flame series), while the SL-75FRN-R / SL-75FRN models are declared on a purple PCB. By analogy with the SL-75FRN-R / SL-75FRN boards, the SL-75FRN-RL and SL-75FRN-L models of the Golden Flame series differ from each other in that the latter does not have integrated Serial ATA and Parallel ATA 133 RAID controllers.
