Photo of the day: ASUS V9280S graphics card based on NVIDIA GF4 Ti4200-8X chip

Only a day has passed since the first mention of the V9280S graphics card from ASUS in our news, and now we are ready to present both the technical specifications of the new card and its detailed photos.

ASUS V9280S card differs greatly from the reference design on the NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti4200-8X chip: firstly, it is made on an 8-layer PCB (the reference one is on a 6-layer one), and secondly, the chip operates at a clock frequency of 275 MHz (+ 10%), not 250 MHz, and thirdly, 2.8 ns DDR memory from Samsung is made in BGA packages (not TSOP) and operates at 600 MHz, as opposed to 500 MHz in the reference version.
