Lexar Media Announces New 256MB, 512MB and 1GB Professional Series CompactFlash Flash Cards, Supporting 40X Data Rate. New cards with support for the WA (Write Acceleration) technology promoted by the company will allow for greater operational efficiency of digital cameras, however, only supporting this technology.
The Write Acceleration technology was first introduced by Lexar Media in September last year, when the company’s first WA-enabled CompactFlash cards were introduced, as did the corresponding digital devices from Kodak, Nikon and Sanyo. However, new cards with Write Acceleration support will work successfully with conventional devices, simply, without reaching the maximum data exchange rates.
New 40X Professional Series CompactFlash Cards Showcased at PMA 2021 in Las Vegas in early March. Deliveries of new cards will begin in March.
