VIA: new lawsuit against Intel

As it turned out, not all judicial activities were described by us in the pre-Christmas (Western style) days. It became known that on December 24, VIA Technologies filed a lawsuit with the Taiwan Trade Commission against Intel, accusing it of conducting unfair competition. According to reports from Taiwan, other companies, such as AMD, may join the lawsuit.

Along with filing the lawsuit, VIA provided documents that, according to company representatives, illustrate Intel’s unreasonable technological licensing requirements, as well as monopolistic actions against hardware manufacturers. In the future, according to representatives of VIA, the filing of similar claims in the United States is not excluded.
