Intel burn test uses calculations that are specifically designed to heat your CPU as far as it will go. Every stress test and benchmark will have different ways of testing your chip. I recommend ADIA64 or Intel extreme tuning utility when just beginning. Be careful and do a little more research into operating temps and over clocking before. Jul 20, · IntelBurnTest stresses your CPU: during these test, the temperature of your CPU will rise extremely rapidly within the first few seconds of the test. For the duration of the test your CPU will operate on average 20 degrees Celcius above the usual temperature range of your CPU. Jul 22, · 3. Use the same stress-testing engine that Intel uses to test their products before they are packed and put on shelves for sale. Benefits of using IntelBurnTest: 1. Simplifies usage of Linpack. 2. Real-time output of results to the screen. 3. Simplifies the process of selecting a test size to use. 4. Better appearance. 5. Intuitive interface. /5().

SilentTek – new noise reduction technology from AOpen
Many PC users experience annoying noise from CPU cooling systems. This noise interferes when listening to music, watching movies, it just spoils life with its continuous hum. A lot of methods have been invented to change this situation, however, experts from AOpen decided to present their own version of dealing with this problem. SilentTek technology, which will appear for the first time in the next generation of AOpen motherboards, is a combination of an additional chip on the board, a new BIOS version and a special utility for Windows. The SilentTek complex, having the functions of hardware monitoring of the system, protecting the processor from overheating and controlling the rotation speed of coolers, allows you to achieve a balance between system performance, its stability and noise characteristics.
The SilentTek utility has several tabs, one of which is Voltage Status, which shows the current critical voltages in the system and allows you to set upper and lower limits for each of them.
The Temp / Fan / Chassis tab controls the temperature of the processor and system, the rotational speed of coolers, and also allows you to set extreme limits.
The most important utility page is SilentTek. allows you to control the rotation speed of each cooler in the system.
Together with the SilentTek technology, the so-called SilentBIOS will be used, which is designed to control the noise level even before the operating system boots, during the playback of multimedia files.
Opening the SilentBIOS / HW Monitor page in the BIOS will allow you to see the following picture:
On this page, you can set the temperature control modes for the processor and chassis, check if the cooler operating modes are set correctly.
