If you only want to mine using CPU or CUDA, you can ignore this message. If you want to mine on ATI graphics cards, you may need to install the ATI Stream SDK, or your GPU may not support OpenCL. Guiminer reports “no OpenCL devices found” unless I use AMD OpenCL Driver I am using a single Radeon video card. From what I’ve read, ATI Stream version will give the most M/hash with this card. However, if I use the standalone installer for ATI Stream for Windows 7 x64 (from here), guiminer will report no OpenCL devices found.

1GHz C3 processors with VIA’s Nehemiah core, officially. About the new VIA Antar core
Today VIA Technologies officially unveiled its C3 processors with a new generation core – Nehemiah (or, according to the company’s roadmap, C5XL).
The company calls the C3 Nehemiah the seventh generation of its processors. As a matter of fact, you can find more details about the performance of these chips in our article VIA C3 1 GHz “Nehemiah”. Here, in the news, we will touch upon the general characteristics of the new chip, plus some details about VIA’s strategy to promote C3 Nehemiah.
According to the official company information, the core of the 1 GHz VIA C3 Nehemiah processors presented today is based on the advanced CoolStream architecture, which implies performance sufficient to handle most digital AV applications with low power consumption and heat dissipation. The new processor features the PadLock Data Encryption Engine, which provides additional data protection at the hardware level. In addition, the Nehemiah core features four new pipeline stages, finally support for the SSE instruction set, a StepAhead branch prediction engine, 64KB L2 cache, and more.P. Additionally, the low power consumption of the chip is emphasized (according to the company, at the level of 11.25 W; however, it was not without a special heat sink) and the use of a modern 0.13 micron technical process in the production.
The new generation of 1 GHz VIA C3 processors is available in CPGA and Enhanced BGA constructs, for Socket 370. VIA plans to raise the clock speed of its C3 Nehemiahs to 1.4-1.5 GHz during 2021, according to plans released late last year. In addition, in the near future, according to unconfirmed reports, VIA also plans to introduce a new Antar processor core, characterized by better power consumption and heat dissipation characteristics. There are no technical details about the Antar core yet, however, according to estimates from industrial sources, processors of this series will have an initial clock frequency of about 900 MHz with a power consumption of about 10 watts. The main consumption sector for Antar processors is the laptop market, although VIA also does not abandon its presence in the Internet tablet sector. It is possible that the Antar core is nothing more than an economical version of the C5X core, previously referred to in the company’s roadmap as C5XP.
