About fake Athlon XP with 333 MHz FSB

AthlonXP website.com published a message referring to local distributors (in particular, Monarch Computer) about the appearance on sale of counterfeit boxed Athlon XP processors labeled as chips with 333 MHz FSB support, which is not true.

I would not like, following the authors of the note, to assert that the packaging factory of AMD is to blame for this, much more often, in my opinion, such things happen “thanks to” an enterprising re-labeling already outside the gates of factories.

So, how does a real and a fake Athlon XP with 333 MHz FSB support differ?? The authors of the note provided two illustrations explaining this case (close-up – follow the link from each illustration, on the left – incorrect marking, on the right – correct).

P.S. The authors of the note claim that such processors began to appear after December 23, 2021.
