NVIDIA Today Announces New Mobile Graphics Chip – NVIDIA GeForce4 460 Go.

The GeForce4 460 Go chip is mainly intended for use in thin, lightweight notebooks for general use, where a balance of performance and power consumption is an important criterion.
The bandwidth of the GeForce4 460 Go memory controller is up to 8 Gb / s, with a chip performance of up to 1 billion. texels / s and 250 MHz clock rate. Powered by NVIDIA PowerMizer energy-saving technology, the GeForce4 460 Go has some of the industry’s best performance per watt.

The first company to announce the use of the new chip in its applications was Toshiba, which announced a line of Satellite 5205-S703 notebooks with a GeForce4 460 Go processor on board.
