Microsoft: DirectX 9.0 Build 9.0.308 (Updated)

A small addition to yesterday’s news about the new release of the beta version of DirectX 9.0. It seems that the wrong installer was offered for download, however, now the correct file has already been published, which you can pick up at these addresses:

  • DirectX 9.0 Build 9.0.308 Web Installer (221 Kb)
  • DirectX 9.0 Build 9.0.308 Web Installer (230 Kb)

You can install this version of DX9 (the so-called Interim Releases) only under the operating systems Windows 98 / ME / 2000 / XP (Windows 95 / NT4.0 are not supported).

Attention: after installing the third beta version, the system may be unstable. Before installing DirectX 9.0 it is highly recommended to make a system backup or rollback point in System Restore.
