New motherboards for servers and workstations from SuperMicro

SuperMicro today announced that it has shipped five server boards supporting the next generation of Intel Xeon DP processors with 533 MHz FSB, as well as two new X5DA8 and X5DAE workstation boards based on the Intel E7505 (Placer) chipset and two new SC742S-550 tower chassis ( SCSI) and SC742i-450 (IDE) for workstations.

All server boards support 2.8 GHz Intel Xeon DP processors (or higher). The company plans to release several more server boards in the coming weeks.
