BARCLAYS Bank has donated sh100m to the Uganda Red Cross Bududa Landslide Appeal Fund. The donation will enable the Uganda Red Cross to provide emergency shelter, food, blankets and medical care to those affected by the landslide, writes Vision Reporter.

“Barclays management and staff are greatly saddened by the calamity and our aim is to ensure that we respond to the needs of the communities from which we draw our customers and colleagues,” said Charles Ongwae, the managing director, at the announcement of the donation.
