EDITOR—The world is experiencing a number of natural disasters and what has struck me is the response and willingness among the people to give support to those affected. Everybody is doing all they can to save a life.

However, at the same time there is a strong debate in the United States about the policy on abortion. It is strange that a country which claims claims to have a heart for humanity is the one openly claim “their right to abort”.

Are we not contradicting ourselves as a human race if we give our whole to save lives and tomorrow we support abortion?

It is time we all realised that life is life and it does not matter what age it is. It remains life— sweet and precious.
